Some of my favorite people on the internet have put together a small zine called “The Basket,” in homage to our commonly beloved podcast The Relentless Picnic. I would certainly fail to accurately describe the podcast itself (their tagline: “Inquiry. Travesty. Not like other podcasts.”) but I can confidently say the community that’s gathered around it feels both diverse and remarkably close-knit; the only thing we all have absolutely in common is an appreciation for a certain caliber of conversation among friends. I have contributed a self-portrait and a short piece of personal writing to the first issue of “The Basket,” which is available here as a free PDF. The loose theme is “cosmos, space, the void.” Enjoy.
